This document describes how PQShield's PQCryptoLib-SDK integrates with Nexus Certificate Manager (CM), Nexus's PKI platform, to create a post-quantum ready certificate management and VPN solution.
Recognizing the imminent threat posed by quantum computers to traditional asymmetric cryptography like RSA and ECC, the solution aligns with NIST-standardized Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) algorithms.
The integration demonstrates a model post-quantum ready corporate PKI and VPN, where PQCryptoLib-SDK combined with OpenSSL 3.5 provides quantum-safe key and CSR generation for certificate management, and quantum-safe key establishment for VPN traffic confidentiality.
